This is a paper print that test the true meaning of Arjuna's penance, Lord Shiva and Parvati created this in the appearance of tribal hunters. Arjuna is unflinching in his resolve as Shiva sits in deep concentration to collect the Pashupatastra, the most deadly and potent weapon. When Arjuna is about to be attacked by a demon in the shape of a boar, Shiva chooses to test his mettle and assumes the persona of a hunter. Both Arjuna and Shiva shoot their arrows, instantaneously killing the animal (demon). Arjuna shoots from the front, while Shiva shoots from the back. According to some legends, Arjuna makes fun of Shiva for doing so without realising who he is speaking to. According to legend, they decide to fight to resolve their disagreement, and at one point Arjuna grabs the hunter's feet in an effort to knock him over. This is said to have been sufficient for Shiva to reveal himself in his real form. Immediately after being startled, Arjuna kneels before the Lord and Parvati and is granted the sword he had been longing for.
