1/8 Seer Brass Engraved Oriental Measuring Cup

Around 1920, brass seer measures ranging in size from 1/64 seer to 1 seer. The cups are from Bombay and have a lovely patina as well as numerous metal work markings. The seer was a traditional Asian measure of mass and volume until the mid-twentieth century. In India, the seer weights 1.25 kilogram's (1.792 pounds).
